Moon-piercing breath. Left nostril only. Cools the body and quiets the nerves.
Important: Use with care in cold weather or if you feel sluggish.
How to practise
- Sit comfortably with spine tall.
- Rest LEFT hand on the belly.
- Right hand in nasagra mudra.
- Close the RIGHT nostril with thumb. Keep it closed throughout.
- Inhale slowly through the LEFT nostril.
- Exhale fully through the LEFT nostril.

When to practise: Best done on an empty stomach — at least 2 hours after a meal. Early morning is ideal.
