Sun-piercing breath. Right nostril only. Generates inner warmth and energy.
Important: Avoid in fever, hyperthyroidism, hot weather, or if you have anxiety.
How to practise
- Sit comfortably with spine tall.
- Rest LEFT hand on the belly.
- Right hand in nasagra mudra — block the LEFT nostril with the ring and little finger.
- Keep the LEFT nostril closed throughout.
- Inhale slowly through the RIGHT nostril.
- Exhale fully through the RIGHT nostril.

When to practise: Best done on an empty stomach — at least 2 hours after a meal. Early morning is ideal.
